ARTIST BIO

Nic Annette Miller is an interdisciplinary printmaker, designer, and teaching artist working at the intersection of education and access in American Sign Language (ASL), multicultural identities and connections to nature. For more than a decade, her visual art practice has been based in drawing, woodcut printmaking, watercolor, sculpture, public installations, photography, video, and movement. Her body of work relies on public installations and community engagement to bridge a connection to the environment and the natural world.

PROJECT INFO

Beehive States was an interactive public art experience that used printmaking and sound to educate participants on both the natural habitats and the importance of bees and on how hearing impacts our understanding. The experience was accessible in English and ASL.
