Jessica Doe is an Aniyunwiya (Cherokee Nation) interdisciplinary writer, artist, and scholar. She serves as Assistant Director and Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at TU's Oklahoma Center for the Humanities, where her work centers Indigenous sovereignty, public humanities, and curation. Her doctoral research examined intersections of women's poetry and eating disorders with a focus on Sylvia Plath, later expanding to contemporary Indigenous poetics. As a Fulbright Senior Scholar in India, she taught the first generative poetry workshop at her host university site. Her forthcoming publications include [sp]RED (Sundress Publications), and Those We Feed and Sweet Heart (McClelland & Stewart/Penguin Random House).
