ARTIST BIO

Corinne Gaston is a freelance writer, poet, and philanthropy professional who's lived in Tulsa for five years. She has presented her work as a featured reader at the VERSES Literary Festival and at OSU's Live Lit Night, and she is a freelance writer at The Pickup. Her poetry has appeared in Apeiron Review and Literary Orphans, among other publications. She runs the Tulsa Black Writers Workshop and is the author of the Substack blog: Tulsa: It's OK! where she writes about everything Tulsa.

ARTIST PROJECT INFO

‘Flaneuring About Tulsa’ is an immersive, generative writing workshop rooted in place, exploration, and observation of the little details. Through a series of half-day sessions, 8-10 participants will explore Tulsa neighborhoods and write poetry and micro-memoir based on what they see and experience.
