ARTIST BIO

Born and raised in Tulsa, Antonio Andrews knows that when destiny calls you’d better answer. Also known as Dial Tone, his caller ID read hip-hop. With music as a launch pad, Andrews has found a place where he can explore his creativity, frequently mashing together the worlds of visual art and hip-hop. In 2016, he started the company No Parking Studios, which specializes in audio and visual creative projects. In 2017, he released his album, Magnum. With more projects in the works, it’s clear that Dial Tone is leaving a message.

PROJECT INFO

FIXTURE is a five-piece neon series inspired by Route 66 and the experience of Black travelers who relied on The Negro Motorist Greenbook to travel across the country. Each piece will be set in a specific location from Santa Monica, CA to Chicago, IL. The principal artwork resides in Tulsa. No Parking Studios additionally released new merchandise and a limited edition Zine— their version of “The Green Book.”
