MICHELLE SVENSON
Artist Mentor
Michelle Svenson is a Korean/Swedish film programmer and producer. She double-majored in Film Production and Art History at Boston University and helped launch reel.com, the first online film rental. Michelle served as producer and programmer for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian for ten years. She works with artists and filmmakers on projects like Britni Harris’s “Goff” and Blackhorse Lowe’s “Shimásání” and “Fukry.” Michelle is Senior Programmer for DocLands Film Festival and Artistic Program Producer at Tulsa Artist Fellowship. She was a 2023 Southern Producers Fellow and WIF/Sundance Women in Finance Fellow.
